How to enter a public venue

Whether you are going to a bar or nightclub to pick up girls, or you are on a first date to a restaurant, or you are just going to a gathering of your social circle with some girls that you may want to date later, the way you enter the venue can make or break the deal.

Make sure that you know the place beforehand. It means going there alone or with some friends a couple of nights before the big night. It is always a good idea to have some places that you frequent, so you can invite chicks there. Because everybody will recognize you, it gives you a great deal of social proof.

Show confidence. A big smile is going to open many doors. If you are the type of person who cannot just simply smile with no reason, remember that you are coming from the outside. Just pretend that something humorous has just happened. It actually has another benefit too: You can start your storytelling much easier.

Use strong body language. Keep you head high. Look straight ahead. Do NOT slouch. Walk slowly, but with purpose. Make eye contact with everyone, and not only with the girl. (Notice that I’m saying make EYE contact, and not stare!)

Speak with an appropriate volume! Do not shout, do not whisper.

Be respectful to the people in the venue. If you are asking a waitress for your table, be courteous and thank her for helping you out.
